travors: Papercraft, design and art with paper (Via Designboom)omg game over.
More Mayuko.
“Mayuko Fujino cuts her way through mind and heart, discovering a surgeon’s touch reveals an underneath world. Without her delicate slices through paper, her cuts and sharp edged boxes separating the surface, the color and vision of the collaged plane would forever stay hidden. With charity and patience, Mayuko Fujino carries us into her colorful revelation. These works are a fascinating look into the uncanny vision of Mayuko Fujino.”

The Design Files: According to the Chanel website, the installation was made up of 7000 handmade paper flowers, using 4000 square metres of paper, and took a total of 4800 hours of work to assemble.
hidden seasons: Spring still seems to be hiding but Lizzie Thomas has the perfect artistic antidote: Wooden books with a surprise inside – hand cut paper, pop-up, seasonal scenes.

This is so beautiful.
I am so creatively starved right now I am very tempted to start slaughtering my books. (You’re saying, “But you go to an art school!” Doesn’t matter. Need to do something not involving philosophy, research, or metal. NOW.)
I love these papergraphics. They’re by Yulia Brodskaya.
